Period red half leather and marble boards. Text in two columns, frontis, vignette title page and 15 inserted plates by Halbot K. Browne. Tight, front hinge cracking, text clean, plates tanned as always, spine a little worn with small chips. An attractive copy. This is a variant on the better known Third American edition with the same imprint which has 36 plates.
