A Good - copy. 8vo., (iv), 418 pp., illustrated with a folding map frontispiece, and 4 b&w plates. Bound in tan cloth with beveled boards, with titles in gilt. Light shelf wear to tips, edges and spine. Title lettering on the spine faded. The first page of Grime's foreword (or Note) is detached, and has been for a long time, as the fore-edge and lower edge of that sheet are now chipped from overhanging the text block. Both hinges are cracking with webbing showing. Map present and clean. The last two pages of Index along with two end papers are detached.
