Each volume approximately 400 pages, illustrated with a photogravure frontispiece in each volume and b&w plates among the text. Uniformly bound in blue cloth with paper title labels on the spine. Moderate edge wear; aper title labels tanned and creased, with Vol. 12's label missing (Tom Sawyer). All volumes the same book plate on the front paste down. Some pages unopened. Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn have the most wear. A Scarce set, unfortunately lacking the last volume. Internally near fine. Item #30443
