In the Washington area, Mrs. Clifford was known as an accomplished hostess and a superlative cook. She was a graduate of the Fannie Farmer School of Cooking in Boston and the author in 1972 of her own cookbook, "Marny Clifford's Washington Cookbook." - Washington Post.
