Moore, McQuuen & Co. was a copperplate printing and publishing family firm, founded by William Benjamin McQueen. At 72 Newman Street, Rathbone Place from 1817-33, having probably been in business from the 1790s (Dyson, The Library 1983, p.233). The firm moved to purpose-built premises at 184 Tottenham Court Road 1833, where it remained for a century. In 1956, his descendant Philip McQueen joined Thomas Ross & Sons (q.v.) taking with him the McQueen firm's stock of old plates and prints. Had sideline as lithographic printers from at least 1822, unprofitably according to Dyson.
