Marbled end papers. All edges coated yellow. Joints tender, with volume 1's front joint cracking. Light edge wear. The fine gilt scrollwork onthe spine's compartments rubbed in spots. Binding signed on the recto of the front end paper, "Hayday & Co." Internally clean and bright.
