Bound in brown stamped cloth, with title and decorative botanical design in gilt on spine. Nineteenth century bookseller's blind stamp to front end paper. Some browning to end papers with occasional light foxing. A very good copy. ***Tipped into the text block, before the ads, is a Notice, reading in part: "Mr. H. S. Olcott, is now engaged in visiting the extensive plantations of Governor Hammond of South Carolina, and Richard Peters, Esq., of Georgia, and finds there the highest satisfaction with the appearance of the crop, which is nearly ready for the mill, and the greatest enthusiasm every where prevails as to the value of these new Sugar Canes.
