Near Fine. ***This was Rear Admiral John Sylvester's copy with extra material included including a large folding chart showing the ship's movements from November, 1942 to April, 1944 with a letter signed by Rear Admiral Frank Beatty to "John", dated December 10, 1945 presenting this chart and giving it's history. Also there is a restricted typed four page report, limited to six copies and dated 2/11/1946, which is a 'Narrative of Japanese Operations - Empress Augusta Bay - 31 Oct - Nov 1943 and a five page typed report, Sept. 20, 1945, listing in detail the ship's Operations and Engagements along with the ship's Commendation. This was purchased from a member of Admiral Sylvester's family, the extra material is very interesting.
