1960 - 1962. Four volumes. 12mo. Full polished fine leather with gilt rules on the covers and with a different scene in gilt on the front cover of each volume, uniform gilt spine decoration and titles, all edges gilt, gilt leather turn ins and marbled end papers. Near Fine, two spines faded, the salmon colored House at Pooh Corner more so than the blue When We Were Very Young, some wear long the joints. A beautiful set of later printings of the original Methuen Pooh books, illustrated by E. H. Shepard, in lovely fine bindings in the style of a Riviere binding (unless it is a Riviere). A very charming set.
