Previous owner's name and 1818 date on the front end papers. Ownership name clipped from the half-title, title and end paper (likely removed by the previous owner whose name remains). Edge wear. Vol. 1's joint rubbed and cracking, very tender. Small loss of leather at the spines' crown and tail, more so on vol. 1. Occasional text gatherings foxed/browned.
