1757 Dublin edition. A Fair to Good copy. 16mo., 138, ii, (143)- 287 pp. Bound in new (late 20th century) full leather, with HANWAY'S TRAVELS on the spine in gilt. New end papers. The title page has a small piece missing, near the binding, effecting the sub-title. The title page has been paper repaired, and "preserved" with a clear plastic sleeve, that adheres to itself. The rest of the text is Very Good, with occasional light scattered foxing. A nice copy of this early Travel account. *** This Compendium of Modern Travels contains the titles: THE TRAVELS OF MR.
