This scene shows General Putnam racing down a hill, with British Dragoons in close pursuit. Putnam was riding for reinforcements, when the dragoons appeared and started the chase. Putnam had his horse leap over an embankment, and down a sharp hill, which stunned the British at the General's recklessness. They stopped and fired their pistols at the general, who turned around waving his sword, taunting them in response. A Legendary moment.***.
