Bound in contemporary full calf, with boards double rules; a six compartment spine, elaborately decorated in gilt; title and volume on red and black morocco labels. Matching marbled end papers and text block edges. Moderate wear to the tips and crown and foot of the spine. Early Cornell Library book plate on the paste down (pre-1874), with the first three pages bearing the Library association's blind stamp. Otherwise, internally clean, bright and unmarked text. A Very Good copy.
